Vietnamese National Assembly President Trần Thanh Mẫn, accompanied by his spouse, is set to embark on an official visit to both South Korea and Mongolia from September 6 to 11. This diplomatic journey underscores the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperative ties between Vietnam and these two nations.
The visit to South Korea comes at the invitation of Cho Jeong-sik, the Speaker of the South Korean National Assembly. Both nations have been keen on deepening their parliamentary and economic connections. This visit is anticipated to further bolster these relations, paving the way for more collaborative efforts in various sectors.
Following the trip to South Korea, President Trần Thanh Mẫn will continue on to Mongolia, where he will meet with Sandag Byambatsogt, the Chairman of the Mongolian State Great Hural. The visit to Mongolia is expected to explore new avenues for cooperation and fortify the existing ties between the two countries, particularly in areas of mutual interest.
This high-level delegation’s tour is seen as a significant step in advancing Vietnam’s diplomatic engagements and fostering stronger ties with both South Korea and Mongolia. It reflects Vietnam’s ongoing commitment to nurturing international relationships through dialogue and cooperation.
