The meeting, which took place at 6 p.m. local time in the Philippines, was attended by Thai Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, and Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. The agenda centered on addressing the ongoing situation between Thailand and Cambodia.
The initiative for these discussions came from the Philippines, leveraging its role as the chair of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
